"Leadership is practiced not so much in words as in attitude and in actions."

Providing a Positive Work Environment
It is my philosophy that the creative team - performers, directors, and designers - should always be provided with a positive and open work environment in which they feel comfortable taking risks and engaging in the creative process. As a stage manager, I set a calm and encouraging tone for rehearsals and meetings, thus supporting the team's productivity.

Building Productive Relationships
As the leader of a creative team, I wish to see all individuals engaging in positive and productive work relationships. Communication is a vital element of productive teamwork, and I ensure that I am always available to facilitate clear communication. I also take great pride in producing clear and functional paperwork in order to disseminate information and aid in the running and documentation of shows.

Conflict Resolution
The unpredictable world of live entertainment frequently throws us "curve balls," and I have become adept at thinking on my feet and providing quick and creative solutions to situations that may arise. I also pride myself on my ability to recognize potential conflicts before they become problematic, thus facilitating stress-free conflict resolution and maintaining a productive environment.

Integrity
The integrity of every company member is of the utmost importance. Each member of the creative team - from the leading performer to the intern making the coffee - is equally responsible for the success of a production and should thus be treated with respect and appreciation!
